The association Künstlerbahnhof Ebernburg e.V. awards a scholarship 2 to 3 times a year for 2 months each to artists whose artistic work is the focus of their activity.
Preferably, young artists should be given the opportunity to work freely, undisturbed and independently in a wonderful environment. It is expected, but not required, that the artist engages with the original, traditional and unique landscape and surroundings during their stay at the Künstlerbahnhof Ebernburg.
In the second half of the two-month residency, an exhibition by the scholarship holder is planned. The exhibition will present the works created here as well as earlier works brought along.
