The “Time Waves” exhibition provides the impetus to revitalize the Fläming region in Saxony-Anhalt as a place of culture and art. With the help of contemporary art contributions and artistic positions, we want to enrich the beautiful Elbe landscape into a lively meeting place for culture and art.
Using the history of the Simonetti House as a backdrop, the exhibition Time Waves explores the convergence of different temporalities. Conceived as a contemplative journey, the exhibition Time Waves is intended to become a meeting place where different layers of time interweave. In this context, time presents itself not as a continuous line, but as a fragmented web, laden with absences, resonances and persistence. The exhibition invites us to reflect on how the narratives of the past inhabit the present, are reactivated, transformed and enter into dialog with emerging realities.

The exhibition is curated by the artists Barbara Bielitz and Mariana Sola and will take place in the Simonetti Haus as part of FLAKUPA from 12.10.2025 to 01.11.2025.
