With our curatorial program CONNECTING 2026/27, we are looking for artistic and curatorial projects that understand the exhibition space not only as a place of presentation, but also as a space for collaborative action and social processes. Against the backdrop of current social and cultural policy challenges, we want to strengthen the space as a cultural commons and further develop it as a platform for community-oriented, diversity-conscious and participatory practices.
We particularly invite projects that deal with questions of living together in solidarity, shaping relationships between different groups and the social, economic and political conditions of exhibiting. CONNECTING is aimed at artists, collectives, curators and mediators who work collaboratively and want to create long-term connections to communities and urban publics.
