The Spotlight Awards are a competition with a unique focus on advertising talent. This is the 7th edition of the awards, the only photography competition to have a jury of potential clients for commercial photographers. Judges including Rodrigo Mitma, Creative Director at DDB Asia, Singapore; Abe Chuang, Creative Director at Mother, China; Echo Mah, VP, Global Brand Creative at Four Seasons, USA; James Millar, Film and Photography Manager at Jaguar, UK; Rita Braz, Art Director at Tommy Hilfiger, Netherlands, and Kaitlin Kocsis, Marketing Director at Kraft Heinz, Canada, among many others, will select the winners who will be announced in September 2024. This contest is possibly the most global online portfolio review a photographer could ever have.
“Our Spotlight Awards offer talented photographers the opportunity to be directly visible to more than 60 of the most influential creative decision makers around the globe. That’s what Production Paradise is all about: great pictures in front of great creatives,” says Mariela von Estorff, CEO of Production Paradise.
Photographers can submit images in 13 photo categories: Advertising, Architecture and Interiors, Beauty, Cars, Business and Industry, Fashion, Food and Drink, Children, People and Lifestyle, Portrait and Celebrity, Sports, Still Life, and Travel and Documentary. and in the category “AI image development and creation”.
There will be a single winner in each category, and all 50+ judges will select a grand prize winner from the winners of the professional category. There are prizes worth over 40,000 US dollars in 14 categories.
