thanks to all those involved in the sichtbar Market 2025 &#8211; to all the participating exhibitors, to the artists on and behind the stage, to the wonderful jury, to the creative offer for children, course to the great audience! It was a beautiful, summery and diverse visible art &amp; design market 2025 with 2,400 visitors. An innovation this year was our workshop exchange &#8211; a bulletin board with flyers from the exhibitors &#8211; and five-minute previews on stage, with fun and lots of information about their workshop offers. We would like to thank Viktor Ludvik, Stefanie Demmel, Natalia Lenzendorf, Kasia Dudziak and Nicole M\u00fcller for their entertaining presentations.   <\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-cmbbk-rosa-background-color has-background\">Special object<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The winner of the visible Art &amp; Design Award 2025 is the Halle-based jewelry artist Christine Matthias with a silver bracelet or object &#8211; congratulations! The jury justified its decision with the following words: &#8220;The selected object presents itself with an unusual idea, shows itself in constructive sophistication and perfect craftsmanship. It appears elegant in its strict, simple design language, but also has an inherent playful aspect. In its flexibility and changeability, it breaks down the boundary between jewelry and object, between craftsmanship, design and art. It is a bracelet that unfolds a sculptural dimension when held in the hand or placed on a surface, in a multitude of possible variations.&#8221; The prize, worth 300 euros, was donated by Hallesche Wohnungsgesellschaft (HWG) &#8211; thank you!<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-cmbbk-beige-background-color has-background\">Audience Award<br\/><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>For two days, the baskets filled up again as long as the voting for the audience award was running. Visitors were also able to decide who they thought should receive a prize in the &#8220;The Special Object&#8221; competition. Around 30 exhibitors had brought along works that were more than just market goods. Kasia Dudziak from Leipzig received the most votes this year with her ceramic object &#8220;UNBELIEVABLE (Der Wal tr\u00e4gt Berlin)&#8221;. The prize was donated by the BBK Saxony-Anhalt with 150 euros in prize money and the Friends and Sponsors of the Moritzburg Art Museum with a membership of the association until the end of 2026. The jury &#8211; Thomas Bille (cultural journalist), Anne Deuter (book artist and BBK member) and Dr. Angela Dolgner (art historian and chairwoman of the Freunde und F\u00f6rderer des Kunstmuseums Moritzburg e.V., one of our cooperation partners) &#8211; awarded the prize of 300 euros for her work &#8220;Friede dem Krieg&#8221;, which consists of three parts. She has transformed utensils from the First World War into peaceful objects. Carolin Schulze received an &#8220;honorable mention&#8221; for jewelry made from many small transparent glass beads that are crocheted onto a cotton thread.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-cmbbk-beige-background-color has-background\">Audience Award<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Our new competition &#8220;The Special Object&#8221; also included an audience award. This was endowed with BBK prize money of 150 euros and a free annual membership of the &#8220;Freunde und F\u00f6rderer des Kunstmuseums Moritzburg&#8221; association. The winner was Nicole M\u00fcller, who runs her photography label &#8220;Frau M\u00fcller&#8221; in Halle (Saale). She won over the public with a print that was produced using a special photobiological process. Nicole M\u00fcller applies a self-produced plant brew to paper and exposes it to light over a long period of time.
