AG BBK exhibitions<\/h1>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

The Working Group BBK Exhibitions develops the conceptual framework for exhibition series and special exhibitions of the BBK Saxony-Anhalt. At present, the BBK Saxony-Anhalt does not see itself as an association whose main task is to organize exhibitions for members. Rather, it is important to ensure that the association’s resources are used in such a way that cultural policy concerns can be pursued first and foremost. The exhibition series have the function of being the BBK’s artistic flagship, offering members an opportunity to identify with their association and enabling society to engage with contemporary trends in the regional visual arts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For some years now, the ‘BBKarium’ and ‘generell frisch’ formats have characterized the external artistic impact of the professional association. In some years, special exhibitions or projects such as symposia or joint projects with the BBK Bundesverband are added. The members of the working group support the Executive Board and the head office in designing the various formats, proofread applications for third-party funding or make suggestions for new concepts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
