From February 1, 2024, artists worldwide can once again apply for the popular prize for Concrete-Constructive Art. The selected participants will be on display from 26.10.2024 to 23.03.2025 in our exhibition accompanying the competition. The andr\u00e9-evard prize is aimed at all those contemporary artists who feel committed to concrete-constructive art and want to help it find new expression with innovative impulses. This prize is dedicated to the Swiss artist Andr\u00e9 Evard (1876-1972) and his work in Concrete Art. This makes him one of the first non-figurative artists in Europe and one of the pioneers of Swiss constructivist geometric painting<\/p>\n\n<p>The prize is endowed with a total of \u20ac10,000 and is divided as follows:<\/p>\n\n<p>1st place: \u20ac 5,000<br\/>2nd place: \u20ac3,000<br\/>3rd place: \u20ac 2,000<br\/>Audience award: 1,000 \u20ac<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Conditions of participation:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p>Any artist can submit a work from the field of concrete-constructive art. Works of art created after <strong>January 1, 2023<\/strong> are eligible. The two-dimensional works may not be larger than <strong>140 x 140 x 15 cm <\/strong>. Three-dimensional works (e.g. sculptures) may not exceed a height of <strong>220 cm<\/strong> and a weight of <strong>45 kg<\/strong>. The submitted works must be available for the duration of the exhibition.<br\/><br\/>The pre-selection is made by viewing the digital material via email to <a href=\"mailto:info@kunsthallemessmer.de\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">info@kunsthallemessmer.de<\/a><br\/><br\/><strong>The email must have the following content:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>WORK INFORMATION (in the following order: artist&#8217;s name, title, date, technique\/material, format, proof of exhibition if applicable)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>LEBENSLAUF with photo<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>WORK DESCRIPTION (approx. \u00bc page)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>HIGH RESOLUTION PHOTOGRAPHS (up to three color photographs of the object as a jpg file &#8211; each in 300 dpi <strong>and 72<\/strong>dpi)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p><strong>Dates:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Application deadline is 31.05.2024.<\/strong>  Later submissions cannot be considered. The nominated artists will be announced on the kunsthalle messmer homepage and informed personally. The date for the <strong>delivery of the works<\/strong> will be announced.<br\/><br\/><strong>Transportation: <\/strong>The costs of delivery and return transportation shall be borne by the exhibition participants.<br\/><br\/><strong>Insurance: <\/strong>Exhibition participants are responsible for insuring their works during delivery and return transportation. During the exhibition in the Kunsthalle, kunsthalle messmer will take over the insurance.<br\/><br\/>There is no legal recourse for the competition and awarding of prizes.<\/p>\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-buttons is-layout-flex wp-block-buttons-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-button\"><a class=\"wp-block-button__link wp-element-button\" href=\"http:\/\/Zum inzwischen siebten Mal schreibt die kunsthalle messmer den andr&#xE9; evard-Preis f&#xFC;r konkret-konstruktive Kunst aus. Ab dem 1. Februar 2024 k&#xF6;nnen sich wieder weltweit K&#xFC;nstler:innen f&#xFC;r den beliebten Preis f&#xFC;r Konkret-Konstruktive Kunst bewerben. Die ausgew&#xE4;hlten Teilnehmer werden vom 26.10.2024 bis 23.03.2025 in unserer den Wettbewerb begleitenden Ausstellung zu sehen sein.   Der andr&#xE9;-evard-Preis richtet sich an all jene zeitgen&#xF6;ssischen K&#xFC;nstler:innen, die sich der konkret-konstruktiven Kunst verpflichtet f&#xFC;hlen und dieser mit innovativen Impulsen zu neuem Ausdruck verhelfen wollen.  Gewidmet ist dieser Preis dem Schweizer K&#xFC;nstler Andr&#xE9; Evard (1876&#x2013;1972) und seiner Arbeit in der Konkreten Kunst. Er ist damit einer der ersten nicht figurativ arbeitenden K&#xFC;nstler Europas und z&#xE4;hlt zu den Vorreitern der Schweizer konstruktiv-geometrischen Malerei  Information:  Der Preis ist mit insgesamt 10.000,- &#x20AC; dotiert und wird folgenderma&#xDF;en aufgeteilt:  1. Platz: 5.000 &#x20AC; 2. Platz: 3.000&#x20AC; 3. Platz: 2.000 &#x20AC; Publikumspreis: 1.000 &#x20AC;  Teilnahmebedingungen:  Jeder K&#xFC;nstler kann ein Werk aus dem Bereich der Konkret-Konstruktiven Kunst einreichen. Zugelassen werden Kunstwerke, die nach dem 1. Januar 2023 entstanden sind. Die zweidimensionalen Werke d&#xFC;rfen nicht gr&#xF6;&#xDF;er als 140 x 140 x 15 cm sein. Dreidimensionale Werke (z. B. Skulpturen) d&#xFC;rfen eine H&#xF6;he von 220 cm und ein Gewicht von 45 kg nicht &#xFC;berschreiten. Die eingereichten Werke m&#xFC;ssen f&#xFC;r die Dauer der Ausstellung zur Verf&#xFC;gung stehen.
