The art prize is to be awarded every second year. A theme is defined for all competition entries. The call is aimed at artists who live and work in Germany and who are interested in the topic of mental health.<br\/>is close to our hearts.<br\/><br\/>The 2024 theme unites and is the criterion for participation:<br\/><br\/>&#8220;Infinitely cold,<br\/>my soul is so pitifully old,<br\/>my soul is so cold,<br\/>as if it were winter in my body.&#8221;<br\/>Aiko<br\/><br\/>Each participant can submit:one independently developed and produced work. Painting, drawing, printmaking and photography can be submitted. Unfortunately, we cannot consider sculptural exhibits. If possible, the picture size should not exceed 120 cm x 150 cm (H x W). The exhibit should initially be submitted for pre-selection in digital form only, stating the author&#8217;s name (not artist&#8217;s name) and postal address with title, technique, size, brief description of the work and artist&#8217;s CV at <a href=\"mailto:eigenart@tandem-brv.de\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">eigenart@tandem-brv.de<\/a>. The jury will select the works from the entries, which must then be submitted in the original. These will then be made available free of charge for an exhibition following the award ceremony in Bremerv\u00f6rde from October 25, 2024 to January 10, 2025.<br\/><br\/>The award winners are chosen from this selection:<br\/>1st prize: 1,000 euros<br\/>2nd prize: 500 euros<br\/>3rd prize: 500 euros<br\/><br\/>The digital data for the competition can be submitted from May 1 to July 31, 2024. The vernissage will take place on October 25, 2024.
