Artists in the daycare center, shaping the future<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

Democracy needs art. Children need art. <\/strong> Art is an indispensable social force. It opens up spaces for new ways of thinking and rethinking, creates understanding and invites people to marvel, question and explore the world. This enriches the educational environment of daycare centers in a special way. However, artists are currently coming under increasing pressure: political influence and austerity measures are restricting their freedom and scope for action. <\/p>\n\n

Fr\u00f6bel is responding to these special needs, opportunities and challenges with the new major funding program Art NOW! <\/strong>We want to strengthen art in daycare centers NOW! Professional artists from all disciplines are invited to work in our facilities. From now until the end of 2025, art and education will be brought together in tandems in Berlin, Freiburg, Hamburg, Leipzig, Munich, Potsdam and Stuttgart via a large mediation pool. We are cooperating with art colleges at all locations to implement the program. <\/p>\n\n

Whether continuous collaboration, intensive project weeks or artistic family activities – the format is flexible and geared towards the ideas and needs of all participants. The activities can take place in the daycare center or at cultural venues, in studios or theater spaces. The guiding principle for joint action is the question: How do we want to shape the present and future NOW! <\/p>\n\n

Expressions of interest from Fr\u00f6bel institutions and applications from artists are now possible.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n
