Whether graphic, sculptural, painterly or photographic. Let us surprise you and celebrate the 2nd birthday of the BBKarium Dessau with us!  <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Of course, the exhibition can be visited around the clock until November 30 and the presentation machine can be set in motion. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">____<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The BBK shop window has been in Dessau since October 2022 &#8211; now it is becoming the site of a special community project. The artists&#8217; association &#8220;Dessau und Umgebung&#8221;, or DuU for short, which has come together under the umbrella of the BBK, is currently working on an unusual idea: the &#8220;Mechanical Shop Window&#8221;. <br\/>This is the prototype of an art presentation machine that will display various works by Dessau artists in the BBK shop window. The special feature: the works of art are moved by a mechanical construction and presented to the public in a new way &#8211; a moving gallery in public space. Visitors can set the machine in motion at the touch of a button and thus actively discover the works.<br\/>This idea was realized in close collaboration with the creative minds of the Werkstattcaf\u00e9.  <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">With the &#8220;Mechanical Showcase&#8221;, the participants are taking up a project that students of the historic Bauhaus were already working on.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Since October, monthly changing joint exhibitions have been presented mechanically.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Parallel to the construction of the machine, a report was produced on the Offener Kanal Dessau, which presents the project idea and the artists involved.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Kunstkollektiv Dessau und Umgebung (DuU) would like to cordially invite you to the next exhibition opening at BBKarium Dessau.On Saturday, November 01, 2025 at 4 pm at Ferdinand-von-Schill-Stra\u00dfe 3 in Dessau, the theme of &#8220;coffee&#8221; will be artistically interpreted and served.
