It is intended to commemorate this artist, who had a decisive influence on the creative scene in Thuringia for decades and was actively committed to the realization of humanist ideals. <\/p>\n\n<p>The prize is endowed with a total of \u20ac7000 and is reserved for young artists who are still at the beginning of their career.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>The following are awarded:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Main prize<\/strong><br\/>Sparkasse Gera-Greiz: 1st prize \u20ac 2500.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Special prizes<\/strong><br\/>Prize of the Lions Club Gera: \u20ac1000.<br\/>Ehrhard Lemm Prize: \u20ac1000<br\/>in memory of the founder of the competition, who died in 2024<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Conditions of participation<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p>All young artists up to the age of 35 (born in 1990) who have completed (or are about to complete) a university degree no more than three years ago (2022) and are resident in Germany, Austria or Switzerland are eligible to apply for the art prize<\/p>\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-buttons is-layout-flex wp-block-buttons-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-button\"><a class=\"wp-block-button__link wp-element-button\" href=\"http:\/\/www.eb-dietzsch-kunstpreis.de\/eb-dietzsch-kunstpreis-2026\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Further information<\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n<p>Application deadline: January 15, 2026<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Since 2008, a biennial art prize for painting has been awarded in Gera, dedicated to the Gera painter and graphic artist Eberhard (Eb) Dietzsch.
