Dear committed people, dear partners,<\/p>\n\n

In 2026, we will launch the new “1000 bricks – we are building the future” campaign <\/strong>with you!<\/p>\n\n

One stone alone moves little – but a thousand stones build the future: from May to September 2026, a walk-in “House of the Future” will be created at several locations in Saxony-Anhalt, built from several thousand painted stones (cardboard boxes). Each stone will be creatively designed by schoolchildren, volunteers, associations and institutions – with wishes, images and messages for the society of tomorrow. The House of the Future will have a diameter of around 25 meters and a wall height of 2.5 meters. <\/p>\n\n

The house will be located in central locations in Magdeburg, Stendal, Zeitz, Quedlinburg and Halle for two days at a time and will offer space for exchange, inspiration and collective thinking about our future both inside the house and on the square in front of it.<\/p>\n\n

On these two days, a colorful program of hands-on activities, workshops, talks, art events and participation formats for young and old will take place around the Haus der Zukunft.<\/p>\n\n

And we need you for that!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

We invite associations, initiatives, organizations, artists and committed individuals to join our event – with their own content contribution, a creative action or an inspiring hands-on offer (please no pure information stands). You are welcome to include anything from speeches on a specific future topic to workshops and performances. <\/p>\n\n

The aim is for us to work together in a creative way on the question: What should our society look like tomorrow – and how do we shape it today?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

We are all building blocks of an open society based on solidarity. The future doesn’t just happen – it is created where people meet, share ideas and take responsibility. <\/p>\n\n
