Innovative content, design quality and environmental characteristics are at the forefront of the assessment. The  <a href=\"https:\/\/bundespreis-ecodesign.de\/de\/wettbewerb\/kriterien\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"> <\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/bundespreis-ecodesign.de\/de\/wettbewerb\/kriterien\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Criteria matrix<\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/bundespreis-ecodesign.de\/de\/wettbewerb\/kriterien\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"> <\/a>and the material instructions in the<a href=\"https:\/\/ecodesignkit.de\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"> <\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/ecodesignkit.de\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Ecodesignkit<\/a> provides an overview of the most important features of ecological design.<\/p>\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Award<\/h4>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Award ceremony at the Federal Ministry for the Environment in Berlin<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>There is a cash prize in the young talent category<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Effective public presentation by our media partners and unrestricted use of the official logo<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Inclusion in the winners&#8217; gallery of the Federal Ecodesign Award<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Roadshow of nominated and award-winning submissions<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Application<\/h4>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The application deadline is<strong> April 2, 2026<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The four award categories are:<br\/>&#8211; Concept<br\/>&#8211; Service<br\/>&#8211; Product<br\/>&#8211; Young talent<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/wettbewerb.bundespreis-ecodesign.de\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Registration<\/a> is exclusively digital, a separate application form must be completed for each entry<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Participation is free of charge in the junior category, but fees may apply in other categories<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-buttons is-layout-flex wp-block-buttons-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-button\"><a class=\"wp-block-button__link wp-element-button\" href=\"https:\/\/www.burg-halle.de\/artikel\/a\/bundespreis-ecodesign-2026\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Further information<\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Application deadline: April 2, 2026<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Federal Ministry for the Environment and the Federal Environment Agency have been awarding the prize in cooperation with the International Design Center Berlin since 2012.
