The B\u00f6senberg Foundation in cooperation with the K\u00fcnstlerhaus Meinersen is offering an art scholarship for visual artists in residence at the K\u00fcnstlerhaus Meinersen for 2026.“Smiling” has a magical effect. The “smile of the Mona Lisa” is the most expensive painting in the world, a subtle smile has often led to special reactions from the other person. The scholarship concerns the artistic exploration of the phenomenon of the “smile”. Benefits:<\/strong>The scholarship includes a monthly amount of \u20ac1000 as well as a rent-free stay in the Meinersen K\u00fcnstlerhaus (living and studio space). At the end of the scholarship, there will be a solo exhibition at the K\u00fcnstlerhaus Meinersen. Duration: 15.4.2026 – 28.3.2027<\/strong>Conditions:<\/strong> The scholarship holder must live and work predominantly in the K\u00fcnstlerhaus for the duration of the scholarship; compulsory attendance. The works created during this time are to be made accessible to the public in consultation with the B\u00f6senberg Foundation and the board of the K\u00fcnstlerhaus Meinersen association. The applicant acknowledges this condition by submitting the application documents.
