{"id":33361,"date":"2026-02-23T09:56:00","date_gmt":"2026-02-23T08:56:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.bbk-sachsenanhalt.de\/the-female-gaze-2-026\/"},"modified":"2026-02-23T17:20:02","modified_gmt":"2026-02-23T16:20:02","slug":"the-female-gaze-2-026","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.bbk-sachsenanhalt.de\/en\/the-female-gaze-2-026\/","title":{"rendered":"THE FEMALE GAZE 2\/026"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Dear artists,<\/p>\n\n<p>We would like to take this opportunity to wish you a healthy, creative and powerful 2026.<\/p>\n\n<p>After the successful exhibition project &#8220;THE FEMALE VIEW&#8221; in 2013 at the Isernhagenhof, the kunstverein burgwedel-isernhagen is starting a new exhibition project and would like to introduce you to our project &#8220;THE FEMALE VIEW 2\/026&#8221; and invite you to help shape this project. we are experiencing an unchecked wave of political revanchism and right-wing populism worldwide, which forces us to question the widespread assumption of a linear and inevitable progress in equality.<\/p>\n\n<p>With this exhibition project, the kunstverein burgwedel-isernhagen artclub e.v. aims to promote and strengthen female positions in contemporary art. After a very successful anniversary exhibition in 2013 (&#8220;The Female Gaze 1&#8221;), we would like to focus once again on primarily female artistic creation, the female gaze on current contemporary art with the exhibition &#8220;THE FEMALE GLANCE 2\/026&#8221; in 2026, thus setting an example for female art. <\/p>\n\n<p>The call is aimed at artists in the fields of applied art\/art design, performance\/sound and video art and fine art.  <\/p>\n\n<p>Works of all art genres, techniques and methods are permitted.<\/p>\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-buttons is-layout-flex wp-block-buttons-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-button\"><a class=\"wp-block-button__link wp-element-button\" href=\"https:\/\/www.kunstverein-bwi.de\/ausschreibungen-2026\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Further information<\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n<p>Application deadline: July 31, 2026<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Dear artists, We would like to take this opportunity to wish you a healthy, creative and powerful 2026.
