The new video series “MachMaTipps” bundles key findings from the training series as part of “Machmamit! – Find what’s yours”<\/a> series on public relations work in cultural education. Over several dates in the fall of 2025, professionals were supported in workshops and impulse formats to address children and young people in a target group-oriented, effective and sensitive manner. The videos pick up on this content and prepare it in a practical way for everyday work. <\/p>\n\n

One focus of the series is on attitude and responsibility in one’s own communication, especially in digital spaces. Language shapes images in the mind, influences who feels addressed and can therefore be an important door opener. <\/p>\n\n

Ra\u00fal Krauthausen<\/strong><\/a>inclusion activist and founder of Sozialheld*innen<\/a>, explains why a conscious, inclusive use of language is central to cultural education work and which formulations should be reflected upon.<\/p>\n\n

In the video, media and cultural educator Karolina Kaczmarczyk<\/strong> from GAMESHIFT NRW<\/a> emphasizes how important safe digital spaces are for children and young people and how clear attitudes, sustainable concepts, binding netiquettes and the active involvement of young people can contribute to this.<\/p>\n\n

Communications Consultant Katrin Gildner<\/strong><\/a> shows how smaller cultural education organizations in particular can communicate efficiently and strategically digitally with limited resources. Strategic prioritization is crucial: not every channel needs to be used. Sustainable communication is created where planning, goal orientation and content-based contributions are considered together. <\/p>\n\n

Last but not least, the video series addresses the responsible handling of data protection and image material. Lisa L\u00fchrs and Alina Sch\u00f6mig<\/strong> from the Hamburg Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information<\/a> explain the legal basis, the role of informed consent and the importance of handling photos of children and young people sensitively.<\/p>\n\n
