In 1999 she graduated from the Sveti Kliment Ohridski University in Sofia, Bulgaria, with a Master&#8217;s degree in Fine Arts Education, specializing in sculpture and ceramics. Since 1999, the artist has been actively involved in traditional exhibitions. Her spectrum lies in collages, painting, paper and ceramic sculptures. Ceramics has remained her passion. A series of group exhibitions showed the monumentality and colorful vibrancy of her sculptural ceramics and tiles. In 2004 she was awarded the Young Artist of the Year prize for her solo exhibition at the Ikar Gallery in Bulgaria. In the same year she visited two painting residencies in Bulgaria and Macedonia.       <\/p>\n\n<p>Zhana Veselinova has lived and worked in Canada where she has participated in many local exhibitions including Eastside Culture Crawl, Purple Door Gallery on Bowen Island, Hycroft Art Gallery at the University Women&#8217;s Club, Place des Arts and Britania Community Centre.
