First scholarship holder of the international work scholarship in Rome<\/p>\n\n
The Saxony-Anhalt Art Foundation’s scholarship takes participants to the Casa di Goethe for a month – a place that has stood for artistic inspiration and German-Italian exchange since Johann Wolfgang von Goethe. In this tradition, it enables artists to engage intensively with the city of Rome and develop new works. <\/p>\n\n
The scholarship is also dedicated to Max Peiffer Watenphul, an artist from Saxony-Anhalt whose life and work were closely linked to Rome and reflect the special atmosphere of the south.<\/p>\n\n
