IN MOTION<\/strong>Movement is one of the most central themes in our lives. Movement can refer to inner processes, to personal change. But it can also refer to the passage of time, to the connection between past, present and future. To the changing seasons or to the interplay of the elements in nature. Movement can make transitions visible or connect two poles that are at a standstill. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We are looking for artistic positions that deal creatively with the possible interpretations of the theme and make movement visible in their own style. The team at Galerie Kungerkiez reviews and decides on the applications and curates a group exhibition from the accepted works. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

DATES<\/strong>Delivery of works: September 27\/28, 12 – 6 pmVernissage: October 2, 7 pmFinissage: October 31, 7 pmCollection of works: November 01\/02, 12 – 6 pm<\/p>\n\n\n\n

REQUIREMENTS\/FURTHER INFORMATION<\/strong>The Open Call is aimed at both amateur and professional artists. Works of all genres and media can be submitted. Due to the spatial conditions, only large room installations are not possible and smaller, space-consuming works must be easy to move. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Each artist may submit 3 works. These must be available during the entire exhibition period (02.10. – 31.10.) and must be delivered or collected at the times stated above. Packaging material must be taken back. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

If the application is successful and one or more works are accepted, a fee of \u20ac10 per person will be charged. In addition, press photos, a short biography and an exhibition text must be provided by September 15 for public relations purposes. The presence of the artists at the vernissage and\/or finissage is desirable. The gallery team decides on the placement of the works, artists have no say in this. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
