With the Moritzburg Art Museum, Burg Giebichenstein University of Art and Design, a lively gallery scene and numerous art associations, the city of Halle (Saale) is considered an established art location. The HAL ART art fair, which has been taking place since 2017, reinforces this claim and creates a platform for fine and applied arts as well as design and fashion.It sees itself as an interface between artists, art mediators and the public and promotes encounters, exchange and sales. With around 2,000 square meters of exhibition space on two levels, the centrally located H\u00c4NDEL HALLE offers an attractive setting for this. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

National and international interested parties are cordially invited to apply for the sixth edition of HAL ART.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

ELIGIBILITY TO PARTICIPATE<\/strong>Professional artists working in the visual arts of all disciplines, as well as design and fashion, are eligible to apply, regardless of their place of residence or work. Students at art colleges, art associations, artist groups and galleries can also apply. The organizer and a curator\/artistic director appointed by the organizer will decide on admission to participation. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

PROGRAMME<\/strong>The fair will open on Friday, February 5, 2027 at 7:00 pm in the form of a vernissage in the foyer of the Georg-Friedrich-H\u00e4ndel Halle. The fair opens for visitors on 6 February at 10:00 a.m.One of the highlights of the fair is the presentation of the Art and Audience Award.The fair will be accompanied by a varied program of discussions, lectures, live performances and creative hands-on activities. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

FAIR PRIZES<\/strong>Once again this year, one of the highlights of HAL ART is the awarding of the Art Prize by the Art Foundation of the State of Saxony-Anhalt, which is endowed with 1000 euros. The prize is awarded to an outstanding artistic position at the fair.This is the sixth time that the Hallesche Wohnungsgenossenschaft FREIHEIT eG has awarded the audience prize, which is endowed with 500 euros. Visitors vote for the most attractive exhibition stand. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
