This year, we will celebrate the 69th DOK Leipzig edition from 26 October to 1 November 2026. Our call for films is now open and we’re looking forward to receiving your latest documentary and animated films! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Film Entries<\/strong>Until July 1, you may apply with animated or documentary films of any length that were produced in 2025 or 2026 and have not been shown public before October 1, 2025. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We’re looking forward to receiving your films.DOK Leipzig (Germany), held every autumn, is unique among festivals worldwide in offering a combination of documentary and animated film. During the week-long festival, we show about 250 short and long films and extended reality (XR) works in Leipzig. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
