On June 1, 2026 at 6 p.m., an exhibition with works by the artist Ondine Frochaux will open at the BBKarium Dessau. The exhibition is part of the BBKarium Saxony-Anhalt 2026 project. <\/p>\n\n

Ondine Frochaux, born in Lausanne in French-speaking Switzerland, studied painting in Otto M\u00f6hwald’s class at the Burg Giebichenstein University of Art and Design in Halle. In her artistic work, she deals with the phenomenon of beauty and the question of how beauty is perceived and experienced. For her, it is both astonishing and wonderful that beauty exists at all and can be perceived by people. She sees art as a way of making this experience visible. <\/p>\n\n

A particular focus of her work is on figures from Greek mythology. These serve her as a mirror of inner states and human contradictions. The irrational and often tragic paths of mythological figures tell of conflicts that are still present today. <\/p>\n\n

The exhibition in the BBK Schaufenster invites visitors to explore questions of beauty, myth and human experience.<\/p>\n\n
