The Artists\u2019 Town is an innovative project in the Altmark region aimed at addressing demographic change through art and culture. Within the historic, protected buildings, artists find a creative working environment in the heart of Kalbe\u2019s old town. The call for applications is aimed at professional, exceptionally talented, and primarily younger artists in the fields of visual arts and literature who have already gained public recognition for their work and who are still open to further artistic development. Note:<\/strong> Applications from artists based in Saxony-Anhalt are expressly encouraged, but are not a requirement. Funding may be awarded to other artists if their outstanding artistic work is of particular interest to the state or if a connection to Saxony-Anhalt can be established. Applications from students are not eligible. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
