On August 22, 2026, they were named recipients of the \u201cDonkey Walking on Roses\u201d award.   <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">What began in the summer of 2025 as an idea conceived by a handful of people quickly evolved that fall, thanks to the participation of many, into an initiative that has demonstrated\u2014far beyond the borders of Halle\u2014what can be achieved through civic courage. The WIR Festival empowers people to help shape it.
