Through their projects, fellows should make a significant contribution to the further development of forms of artistic practice. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Mentors may be selected from among the professors in the Department of Fine Arts. Fellows are expected to participate in the Welcome Weeks (April 19\u201330, 2027) and in a joint final presentation in January\/February 2028. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Funding is provided in the form of stipends of 1,600\u20ac per month for a period of 12 months. A studio apartment in Braunschweig will be available for the duration of the fellowship. Fellows must pay a monthly contribution of \u20ac250 toward incidental living expenses. Fellows are required to reside at HBK for at least 8 months. The funding period will begin on April 1, 2027.    <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A prerequisite for a fellowship is a degree in art. The applicant\u2019s most recent studies must have been completed after April 1, 2016, and before April 1, 2023. Applicants must be able to provide evidence of extensive artistic practice and participation in exhibitions.
