The pilot phase was financed by the Investitionsbank Sachsen-Anhalt as part of the &#8220;Digital Heritage&#8221; program. The first three directories were compiled by project member and art historian Sven Pabstmann, while independent art historians entered the data for the remaining directories. Photo documentation could be commissioned from professional photographers.
