Dear designer/artist,
We cordially invite you to become part of our series “On March 8 – Women Artists in Focus”! For some years now, the Kunstmuseum Moritzburg Halle (Saale) has increasingly focused on works by women artists – both in special exhibitions and in our permanent exhibition. However, there are still many treasures slumbering in our depots,
which we would like to make more visible.
To mark International Women’s Day/Feminist Struggle Day, an artistically designed postcard dedicated to an artist from our depot has been published every year since 2025. For 2026, the focus is on the photographer Barbara Köppe (1942-2023). Our photography collection includes her impressive series “15 Experiments on Women in Artistic Professions”.
What we are looking for

- The design deals with the artistic work and/or life of Barbara Köppe – the technique is freely selectable.
