Welcome to the BBK Sachsen-Anhalt e.V.

The BBK Sachsen-Anhalt e.V. directly supports professional artists in all their professional matters in our federal state. It sees itself as a community of solidarity and offers opportunities to develop personal initiative.

In addition to our role in supporting members, we see ourselves as a mediator in order to optimize the economic conditions for entrepreneurial activities in the art sector, to work towards broader social use and the resulting cultural added value for all. Improving cultural education is therefore also one of our core tasks. We see our role as a communicator, interdisciplinary interface and point of contact for all social actors, discourses, economic associations, cultural sectors, institutions and offices, and thus assume the role of an umbrella organization in the field of visual arts with almost 390 members (as of the beginning of 2025).

Essential prerequisites for our work are the preservation of artistic freedom and respectful interaction with one another.
