At the BBKarium in Wernigerode, Elvira Franz is presenting her exhibition “Colors Like Sounds.” Her artistic work focuses on color, form, and their interplay. Precisely placed areas of color, curved lines, and geometric shapes create distinct pictorial spaces. Subtly graded shades of color interact with one another, producing different visual “sounds.”
Franz is interested in the richness that can emerge within a clearly structured, minimalist visual language. Her painting moves between abstraction and concrete perception and invites viewers to experience color not only as a design element but as a form of expression in its own right.
