The Hodder Fellowship is awarded to artists and writers of exceptional promise to pursue independent projects at Princeton University during the academic year. Hodder Fellows spend an academic year at Princeton, but there are no formal teaching duties involved.
Potential Hodder Fellows are highly talented composers, choreographers, performance artists, visual artists, writers, translators, or other types of artists or humanists. Most successful Fellows have published their first book or have achieved similar milestones in their respective fields. Applicants do not need to be U.S. citizens.
A stipend of $93,000 is provided for this 10-month appointment as a Visiting Fellow.
