The Federal Ministry of Education and Research BMBF is offering a digital information event on May 22, 2025 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. on the implementation of “Kultur macht stark” projects in rural areas.
Ladies and Gentlemen,
The federal program “Kultur macht stark. Bündnisse für Bildung” brings together local stakeholders in all regions of Germany who are committed to improving educational opportunities on the ground. At the digital event “Kultur macht stark” in ländlichen Räumen: Potenziale entwickeln, Perspektiven schaffen on 22 May 2025, the Federal Ministry of Education and Research will provide information on funding opportunities and development approaches offered to rural communities and institutions in the program from 10 a.m. to 12 noon.
We hereby invite you to join us for presentations and discussions on how strong alliances for education can create fairer participation opportunities for children and young people in rural areas. In presentations by Prof. Marc Redepenning (University of Bamberg) and Tanja Lütje (District Culture Officer, Head of the Culture Department in Stormarn), based on practical examples and in a panel discussion, you can find out more about how different stakeholders can work together, taking into account local characteristics and potential, to create sustainable prospects locally through cultural educational experiences.
After the event, you will have the opportunity to exchange ideas with program stakeholders.
“Culture makes you strong. Bündnisse für Bildung” has been contributing to more educational opportunities and participation in Germany since 2013. With this program, the Federal Ministry of Education and Research supports extracurricular cultural education projects for children and young people who otherwise have little access to such opportunities.
We look forward to welcoming you to our information event on May 22, 2025.
Yours sincerely
Your team from “Kultur macht stark”
