Pure Water for Generations e.V. invites art students and professional visual artists to design the “Water Cover 2026” and make their connection to water visible – on a small format with a big message.
What’s behind it
The “water lid” is the symbol of the Association for Water Awareness. One side bears the messages of Pure Water for Generations, the other is artistically redesigned every year. This creates a connection between water, nature and art. Because art touches us – and what touches us, we protect.
How to take part
Interested art students and visual artists will receive the original water cover on which they can directly implement their artwork by March 1, 2026.
The 33 most convincing works will be shown at a vernissage on the Danube in Linz in June 2026. The winning work will receive prize money of €2,000 and will be printed in an edition of 5,000 copies.
