The motto of the upcoming festival edition is“humanity in (dis)solution”! We are concerned with the question of what humanity means today when it is politically negotiated, institutionally restricted and increasingly fragile – and which aesthetic, discursive or performative forms are suitable for responding to this. We are not looking for ready-made answers, but for works that engage with these questions, sharpen them, undermine them or reframe them.
The Open Call is aimed at artistic and discursive contributions from all disciplines and formats – performative, discursive, participatory or hybrid. We particularly welcome submissions that experiment with forms, rethink relationships and do not avoid complexity. Career level or institutional affiliation are irrelevant.
