This year, the art association [KUN:ST] INTERNATIONAL e.V. is organizing a competition in the Orangery of Schwetzingen Palace on the theme of “stand.punkte“. This exhibition title is intended as a stimulus and reflection: People’s standpoints on nature, the environment, politics, society, religion, or standpoints in the field of art could be possible topics. “stand.punkte” offers the most diverse possibilities for interpretation.
With the theme “stand.punkte” [KUN:ST] INTERNATIONAL wants to invite all artists, including those outside the association, to submit works from the fields of painting, graphics/digital media/photography and three-dimensional works.
Interested parties can apply to take part with just one work online using the application form and submitting a photo of the work. The [KUN:ST] INTERNATIONAL Art Advisory Board will carry out a pre-selection of the submitted works and the selected works will be exhibited in the Orangery of Schwetzingen Palace from August 2 to 30, 2026.
During the exhibition, a jury will select the winners in the three competition categories: [KUN:ST] Prizes 2026 will be awarded for the three best works shown in the exhibition from each area of painting, graphics/digital media/photographs and three-dimensional works, with cash prizes of 500 euros for the best works and 250 euros for the second and third-placed works.
The announcement of the art prize winners and the presentation of the art prize will take place during a finissage on Sunday, August 30, 2026 at 3 p.m. in the Orangery of Schwetzingen Palace. Artists present can and should dismantle their work immediately after the award ceremony and take it with them.
