Woodcutting is one of the oldest printing techniques and is characterized by a wide range of possibilities in terms of form, color and expression. No previous knowledge is required to take part in this course – curiosity and a love of design are enough!

In 2026, the Museum Lyonel Feininger is once again inviting art enthusiasts to take part in a range of weekend courses in the museum’s own studio. The program is aimed equally at beginners and advanced creatives who want to expand their skills or discover new techniques.
Participants gain exciting insights into various artistic disciplines under expert guidance. The course schedule includes: Etching, woodcut, calligraphy, watercolor painting and drawing.
The courses can now be conveniently booked via the museum’s online ticket store or purchased on site. Early registration is recommended due to limited places.
