On May 21, 2026, the broad-based Cultural Integration Initiative is calling for a day of action for Cohesion in Diversity. The German Cultural Council is a co-initiator of the day of action.
For “Cohesion in Diversity”, organizations, alliances and individuals (including artists and BBK associations, of course) are invited to organize as many activities as possible and thus send a clear signal for cohesion in our diverse society.
Program items can still be registered on the Day of Action website until 15 April. On the website you will also find material for public relations work to help the cause gain more visibility.
For inspiration: The colleagues of the BBK Landesverband Hessen have announced a postcard campaign for the UNESCO-DAY-DER-VIELFALT and distributed it to the Hessian members of the BBK for participation. A letter to Hessian art universities and art colleges is also in the works. Here, the colleagues want to specifically address young artists and draw their attention to the BBK.
