The municipality of Ismaning (district of Munich) offers a studio program aimed at visual artists living in Germany. Two scholarships are awarded simultaneously for a residency of between three and six months.
The artists live and work in the rooms of the so-called Wasserschlösschen. It is idyllically located in the south of the town in the Isar floodplains between Ismaning and Munich. The aim is to enable the scholarship holders to develop their artistic talents away from the center of their lives in a concentrated and peaceful atmosphere surrounded by nature.
The artists are supported by the Kallmann-Museum Ismaning, which is available for a close exchange and can arrange contacts with artists and cultural institutions in the greater Munich area.
