Funding is available for projects that are sustainable, have no commercial intentions, are not aimed at permanent or regular funding and have a minimum funding amount of €1,000. We ask for your understanding that applications with a funding amount of less than €1,000 will not be processed for reasons of proportionality.
Any natural or legal person or regional authority that is resident or domiciled in Saxony-Anhalt or whose project has a special connection to the foundation’s statutory purpose is eligible to apply for funding for art and culture in Saxony-Anhalt/cultural buildings and projects in the Magdeburg area.
The applicant must have a proper management and be able to prove that the funds have been used as intended. Applications must be submitted using the application form.
The application form is submitted with the required documents, whereby applications up to a funding amount of €10,000 should generally be received by the “Kloster Bergesche Stiftung” up to 3 months before the start of the project, with a funding amount of over €10,000 generally 6 months before the start of the project.
