On behalf of the town of Braunlage and the Harz National Park, we cordially invite you to apply for participation in the 30th art exhibition NATURE – HUMAN 2024. The exhibition will take place from September 15 to October 26, 2024 in Sankt Andreasberg and offers an outstanding platform for professional artists, members of artistic associations and up-and-coming talents from art academies. Your participation in the exhibition automatically qualifies your work for evaluation by the jury for the Andreas Art Prize. The opening of the exhibition will take place on September 14, 2024 at 7 p.m. in the town hall barn in Sankt Andreasberg as part of a festive vernissage. A special highlight of this evening is the awarding of the Andreas Art Prize, which is dedicated to the patron saint of Sankt Andreasberg. The prize is endowed with prize money of €2,000. In addition, a 2nd place with 700 € and a 3rd place was awarded €300. In addition, an audience award with a certificate will be presented at the end of the exhibition. The NATURE-HUMAN exhibition invites you to explore and artistically interpret the complex relationship between man and nature in a variety of ways. The aim is to highlight the various interactions between the natural environment and human existence – whether through the depiction of harmony or conflict, changes and challenges. Natur-Mensch makes it possible to explore various aspects, such as the influence of climate change on ecosystems, the beauty of natural aesthetics or the connection between humans and their environment. Ultimately, this theme provides a challenging platform for profound reflections on our relationship with nature and our individual responsibility as part of it.
