At the turn of the year 2025/26, the ARTHENA FOUNDATION is offering a grant for the second time to support artists in financing a publication.
The scholarship is aimed at artists who would like to publish their work in an artist’s book. The closing date for applications is January 31, 2026. Artists living in Germany or born here can apply with a publication project, regardless of age.
It should be published by a publishing house in an edition of at least 100 copies. The maximum funding amount per artist is a maximum of 75% of the publication costs and up to a maximum of 10,000 euros. The remaining project funds must be proven. The funding excludes commercial partners.
