The aim of the competition is to find the best possible solution for the artistic design in accordance with RLBau for the project “New construction of a control center and simulation center” at the Hahn Campus of the Police University.
The awarding authority envisions an artistic intervention on the façade of the new building that influences the design of the surrounding area. The art can spill over in traces, elements or fragments onto the neighboring buildings and, to a lesser extent, onto the ground. The future renovation of the buildings must be taken into account and reproducibility should be considered within a manageable financial framework. The simulation center or the control center can provide inspiration for the design of the art.
