Works by Benjamin Kerwien can be seen at the BBKarium Dessau until February 29. He is showing new works: Insect portraits with slightly iconographic features on copper, gold leaf and cardboard, oriented towards reality and without spatial reference. When greatly enlarged, the insects become impressive works of art thanks to the power of color and their delicate beauty. The second part of the exhibition comprises small surreal landscapes. These works on milk carton are a continuation of the “Kultur ans Netz” project.
