Since 2008, InteriorDAsein has regularly presented positions in Armenian fine art and now houses a collection of canvases and works on paper by numerous artists of Armenian descent. The exhibition “Aspects of Armenian Painting. From Ivan Ayvazovsky to Narine Zolyan” shows works from the period from 1860 to the present day from the collection of the project space as well as works on loan from Berlin collections. The exhibition invites visitors to discuss the orientations and developments in the painting of a cultural nation that has been fighting for its survival since antiquity and has once again had to accept expulsion and life in the diaspora in recent years.
