Fresh A.I.R. is an artist-in-residence scholarship program in Berlin and offers artists and cultural practitioners from the field of Urban and New Contemporary Art the time, space and resources to devote themselves to an artistic project within the framework of a specific thematic complex (and oriented towards the funding priorities of the Stiftung Berliner Leben).
The funding gives the scholarship holders the opportunity to gain new impulses during their stay and, integrated into Berlin’s cultural life, to develop artistically and gain important experience for their future careers. Up to 13 scholarship holders per year are invited to Berlin for a 10-month residency.
