The mobile studio will be making a guest appearance at KUKUK – Kunst Kuchen Kommunikation in the Holzmühle, Remlingen, from the end of July to mid-September. The Holzmühle is an old flour mill in the Lower Franconian community of Remlingen. It is located outside the village, in a hamlet between three villages, surrounded by fields and forest. The mill stream flows through the site and drives a mill wheel, which is now used to generate electricity. In addition to the idyllic orchards and the pond, there is a studio in the old barn for working and exhibiting. Artists are invited to make use of the Holzmühle’s extensive grounds and connect with the surrounding villages, which are only a few kilometers away. The Holzmühle has always been a place where people could meet. Even today, there is a restaurant with a beer garden here, which invites numerous visitors to linger in the countryside, especially at the weekend. The Mobile Atelier is a place of encounter, exchange and inspiration. It invites visitors to engage with contemporary art and dialog with artists. In the spirit of cultural education, the stay is characterized by a diverse mediation program by the artists.
