The Energy and Environment Institute at Rottenburg University of Applied Sciences is inviting creative minds to embellish the hydrogen plant with an artistic design concept. The aim is to harmonize technology and aesthetics and at the same time set a visible sign for the energy transition. The theme of the design is to be hydrogen & future energy.
Interested parties can submit their sketches and designs by February 7, 2026 at the latest. A jury will then select the most convincing concept. The winner will be announced at the end of February 2026.
The winner of the competition can look forward to prize money (including implementation budget) of 5,000 euros as well as the opportunity to make their work visible to the public. The prize money is provided by the sponsors, the H2-Wandel association, Stadtwerke Rottenburg and the Sparkasse and Volksbank in the region.
