b.a.c.H. pocket calendar 2026
Cooperation between the book art center Halle and the Hallescher Dichterkreis
In 1991, students of German Studies founded the third Halle Poets’ Circle, an open group of authors who meet regularly to discuss their current, unfinished texts. Thanks to the work of this group, a considerable number of volumes of poetry, short story collections and novels have already been published.
The artists’ collective book art center Halle, b.a.c.H. for short, has been in existence since 2014. Among other things, it has been publishing a pocket calendar since 2015, which brings together 12 to 14 artists with their work every year under a specific motto. Most of the artists studied at the Burg Giebichenstein University of Art and Design in Halle. In addition to the interspersed illustrations, the calendar in paperback format offers plenty of space for notes in the weekly overview, while a collector’s bag keeps important treasures safe.
Now – for the year 2026 – the book art center Halle and the Hallescher Dichterkreis have come together to design the calendar for the coming year. This cooperation symbolizes the large &-sign as a luminous iris screen print on the blue mottled linen cover. So we are also celebrating 2026 as a year of fruitful collaboration – because a little more WE is good for everyone, right?
The b.a.c.H. pocket calendar 2026 costs €29, the edition is limited to 500 copies. It can be ordered by sending an email to .
Every year, we invite artists to design the b.a.c.H. pocket calendar together.
