An international contemporary art event that will bring artists and the community together in one place from July 17 to 26, 2026, deeply connecting the public with art and nature. The Government of the Chaco and the Urunday Foundation, as organizing committee, are hosting the International Sculpture Biennial 2026, a cultural event that will take place from 17 to 26 July 2026 in the city of Resistencia in the Argentine Chaco.
Ten sculptors from different countries take part and work for seven days on a work of their choice according to set rules. Each sculptor represents their country of origin, thus underlining the international spirit of the competition.
The sculptors selected by the Organizing Committee will be duly notified and must be present in Resistencia (Chaco, Argentina) from Friday, July 17 to Sunday, July 26, 2026. They may arrive in the city as early as Thursday, July 10, if their flight schedule requires it. The first official event will be the welcoming ceremony on Friday, July 17, at 19:00. Attendance is compulsory.
