“Fresh Legs” is our latest exhibition initiative with which we would like to present painting, sculpture, illustration, drawing, street art, photography, short film, animation and related areas. (No graphics/multiple editions except photography and sculptures) Together with our new cooperation partner, INSELGALERIE Berlin, we are creating a platform for our audience to meet and discuss art in these areas. We offer both unknown and established artists exhibition space and inspiration.
On 190 square meters the INSELGALERIE presents exclusively the work of female artists, whether painting, sculpture or crossover techniques. The gallery has existed since 1995 and is unique in Berlin with this consistent program.
About “Fresh Legs“
The “Fresh Legs” exhibitions have been a great success since 2013. What the artists have in common is that they reflect on humanity and our current way of life and depict this in very different media and techniques. Some artists are also offered the fantastic opportunity to take part in an exhibition in Denmark the following fall.

Application: Please fill in data in English as our curatorial team is international.
Only if you are admitted to the exhibition, i.e. if you are selected at the screening and are subsequently requested in writing by our curators to send the works, please send your works in secure packaging to the following address and enclose a description of the works both on the back and on a separate document.
We accept no liability for works that are sent to our gallery unsolicited.

Exhibition period “Fresh Legs”: June – October
There is no registration fee.
If the works are accepted for the exhibition, the artist is responsible for packing, shipping to and from the gallery and taking out insurance. The selected works must be available to us for 12 months after the exhibition in order to be implemented in subsequent exhibitions. Please note that all works must be for sale.
A one-off exhibition fee of 40 euros will be charged to the accepted artists to help cover the costs of print templates, flyers, posters and possibly a small catalog.
Please remember that the gallery accepts no responsibility for the disappearance or damage of works during transportation, installation or exhibition.
However, we would like to draw your attention to the fact that we treat the works with the utmost care and that we have not had any damage in 25 years.
