The youth club m24 is launching an OPEN CALL for artworks and installations that deal with sustainable art production in the context of the Klimatak festival.
Klimatak is a participatory youth festival that takes place annually and celebrates climate protection with art and music. One of our main goals is to create spaces for feminist and anti-fascist activists & artists – especially LGBTQIA+* and BIPoC – to address climate policy issues. Through this Open Call, we want to connect young creatives with the Klimatak collective to enrich the atmosphere and experience of our festival.
To create works of art, we offer an artist-in-residence program in Berlin. Our aim is to support your creative development, provide you with space and resources and offer visibility and networking opportunities. During the residency, you will create a site-specific artwork that will be presented at the Klimatak Festival on 19.07.2025.
We welcome applications from emerging artists and creatives of all backgrounds, including self-taught artists, artists with disabilities, LGBTQIA+ individuals, BIPoC, and those with non-traditional art practices. No formal training required, just a passion for creative work and an openness to explore new things
